The EUATC’s annual rendez-vous is in South-Eastern Europe this autumn on 15 and 16 October 2009.
Our international conference will be hosted by BAPITA, the Bulgarian association of translation companies, in Sofia, one of the oldest cities in Europe.
The power of energy and business creativity in a global context
This event will provide a
wonderful opportunity for networking, which is one of the secrets of
success in business, and exploring one of the newest members of the EU
(Bulgaria joined in 2007). Nothing can replace face-to-face
communication as a sound basis on which to build cooperation agreements
and business partnerships.
The 1st day of the
conference will highlight the important role played by language service
providers in society, based on the example of the energy sector. The
topic will be covered by speakers from the UN, the energy industry and
the translation sector.
The day will close with a special gala dinner at the Vodenitzata restaurant (the Mill) where conference participates can relax and network in a traditional Bulgarian setting.
The 2nd day of the
conference will focus on business: staying sustainable in the tough
economic environment and changing conditions. Experts, such as Lorenz Aries
from the optiMas Group, will offer invaluable advice on how to remain
profitable, and even expand your business in the demanding global
market by optimising your resources and unleashing your potential.
Pre-conference workshops
This year, in addition to the annual conference, the EUATC is offering two optional workshops:
1. A CRM workshop organised by Lorenz Aries, optiMas Group, and
2. A sales workshop organised by Doug Lawrence, Amicus TransTec Limited
